Finally Fall

Well- we have given up on the notion that we are going to be 'good bloggers'

Here is the short & sweet of summer - 

It was a hectic one & we are glad it is finally fall! :)

 Now that is is fall we have been taking the dogs to the beach after 'school' & just enjoying fall on Nantucket

You know it has been a while when......

Well - You DEFINITELY know its been a while when you pull up your blog & notice Hudson no longer looks anything like the photos & your last blog was talking about New Years day. It is now July 10th & we are spending our days in swim suits instead of fleece.
Only thing I think we can do is try to post a six month 'review' & try to sit down at this computer more then we apparently have been :)
So here goes....and I apologize in advance - you know I am going to miss a bunch :)

Our winter in brief...


Had our one & only snow fall....teaching him already it will be his job to shovel

 Continued our love of spinach pizza

 Many a dog walks with a need to climb on anything & everything

 Continued love for the sheep & feeding them

 As I mentioned....climbing on EVERYTHING

 The nick name HUGGIE has definitely stuck - he is still a little love bug

 Again - CLIMBING ON EVERYTHING....come Feb/March we were getting tired of hearing our own voices telling him to get down so we just gave in....thankfully it has kind of lost interest...kind of

 Went on a little Cape-cation....favorite place = Barnes & Noble every morning....Starbucks for Mommie & Daddy - Thomas the train train table to himself for aleast an hour

 Met up with our off island friend Sophie for a little trip to the children's museum

 Got into the habit of pushing his chair to the window so he could see if Matty was home at the end of the day

 Toured the police station....figured out where was fun (the jail cell apparently) & where was not....everywhere else!

 But not much later Joan & David came to visit - again LOVES his Richard Scary books Matt bought for him before he even arrived :)

 He went to play with his friend Camden while I popped up to Halifax for a quick 36 hrs for my brother Robs wedding

 Grandma Mary & Grandpa Frank came down to help with some SPring Cleaning....& so he could show them how he LOVES TO CLIMB ON EVERYTHING

 Dropped them at the 6:30 am boat & went for a little beach time in our PJs before I went to work & he went to 'school'

 Best party about birthdays in the summer is that dinner goes remote to the beach.  This one was a special night for Julie (who watched him last years) birthday - think he likes the cake?

 Figuring out that he is (in his words) 'too heavy' for the old MacDOnald tractor to pull him like it does his animals

Short - sweet with a bunch missed in between.... The boys just got back from a week up in Door County @ the Kresls cottage.  Matt will post some pics soon.
